The LG 5231JA2006 / LT600P Premium Ice and Water Filter is LG's newest filter. The LT600P Filter fits most LG Side-by-Side & Bottom-Freezer refrigerators and all Kenmore "795" Series refrigerators - including Kenmore Trio (three-door or "French door") models with the water dispenser on the outside of the refrigerator door. It does not fit Kenmore Trio models with the water dispenser on the inside wall of the refrigerator. The LT600P improves the taste and odor of the water and removes the following impurities: 96.7% of Mercury 99.31% of Lead 95.9% of Atrazine 96.3% of Benzene 93.06% of 24-D 99.09% of Lindane 99.99% of Cysts 99.3% of Turbidity 99.9% of Particulates (Class I) 97.6% of Chlorine Taste & Odor. It does not remove flouride. LG recommends that you replace your filter every 6 months.
